Sunclub (??? 1989 - August? 1990)

After issue 7 of Sunclub, Sunsoft decided to change the format of the newsletter and restart the numbering at 1. The new version dropped the page count significantly and largely eliminated the fan interaction, unique art, and personality that made the original Sunclub so special. It must have been extremely disappointing for readers when volume 1 of new-Sunclub showed up in the mail. There were also only 5 issues covering most of 1989 and 1990, which means that the mailing schedule was reduced as well. These don't have dates on them (apart from game release dates) so it's hard to say for sure when they were mailed out.

This issue was larger than the previous issues, at A4 size (previous issues were B5). However, it wasn't even staple-bound, it was just a fold-out flyer.

From this point onward, the newsletter went back to being staple-bound, but the page size was reduced to A5.

This issue brought back the Nazoler Box mailbag segment. It informed readers that Sunclub was going to change formats again and asked for feedback on what changes should be made.
