Write once system 3. Troubleshooting
This section describes the measures to be taken when an error message is displayed.
Image file error
- If you receive the error message described in this section, there is a problem with your CD image. Make sure that the .dsk or .emu and .toc files are in the same directory and that they were created correctly on the virtual CD system. If you still get the error, try creating the CD image again.
● Error regarding image file format
- The following error message means that the CD image you are trying to record is malformed.
- Bad data form
- unknown data form in line
- Error Data Length
- Note that the following error message is a CD image in a format that segacdw does not support, or the mode of the CD-ROM to be created is incorrect.
● ISRC length error
- There is a problem with the length of the ISRC stored in the image of the CD. Examine the original data and regenerate the image.

● Cue sheet error
- If you receive an error message similar to the following, there is a problem with the Cue sheet. Recreate the .dsk and .toc files on the virtual CD system.
- Cue Sheet intermidiate conversion failed
- Cue Sheet parsing failed
- Cue Sheet conversion failed
- Cue sheet size error
- Cue sheet too large
- Empty cue sheet
- No track definitions in cue sheet
- Can't find lead-out in cue sheet
- Nocore for cue sheet
- Also, the following error indicates that the Cue sheet has not been generated or that there is no file containing the Cue sheet in the same directory as the image file.
Errors that occur in the relationship between the host machine and the CD-R recorder
● Errors that occur when transferring a CD image
- The following error message means that the I / O speed of the host's hard disk is not in time for the write speed of the CD-R writer. Use command options to adjust the writing speed of the CD-R.
● Errors related to the settings of the CD-R recording device
- The following error message occurs when you specify an invalid value for the write speed. Use the option -s to specify the correct write speed.
- The following error message is displayed when the firmware version of CDR100 is old and the CD for SEGA Saturn cannot be created. Make sure you have the correct version of the CDR100 firmware.
- Firmware upgrade of CD recorder is needed to use this software.
