■ If this message is displayed

"You can't play with this SEGA SATURN CD"
Displayed when a Sega Saturn CD other than for Japan is included. In this case, check the CD type.
(If music data is included, only music data can be played.)
It is also displayed when the recording surface of the CD (the surface on which the game name etc. is not printed) is dirty. In this case, wipe the recording surface with a soft, dry cloth.

"This CD cannot be played"
Displayed when a CD with no music data is inserted. In this case, check the CD type.

"CD is not included"
Displayed when there is no CD, when the CD is severely damaged, when it is turned upside down, and when there is a type of CD that Sega Saturn cannot recognize. In this case, check the status and type of the CD.

"You can't play with this SEGA SATURN cartridge"
Displayed when a Sega Saturn cartridge other than for Japan is included. In this case, check the type of Sega Saturn cartridge.

■ If you think it is a malfunction

● Multiplayer screen does not start
Is the game cartridge removed from the cartridge slot?

● The Sega Saturn CD game does not start
Is the disc turned inside out ?
Is the disc dirty ?
Is the disc scratched?

● CD, CD + G, CD + EG can be heard in monaural
Is the audio output monaural?
(When using a Sega Saturn stereo AV cable or Sega Saturn S terminal cable)

● When the power is turned on, the date and time setting screens are displayed many times.
● The data saved in the backup RAM of the main unit disappears.
Is there a lithium battery? Or is the lithium battery dead?

● The lamp does not light immediately when the power button is pressed
It may take a second or two for the power lamp to light up, but this is not a malfunction.

In addition to this, if the operation or display is strange during use, try pressing the reset button or turning the power button ON / OFF once. If that doesn't work, remove the battery cover and press the master reset switch. (However, if you perform these operations while saving the game data, the data may disappear without being saved.)

If the above operations do not work properly, disconnect the power cable from the outlet and contact the store where you purchased the product or our technical support center.
