"Sega Converter" is an application that displays 2D image data saved in various file formats and converts these files to each other. The displayed image can be changed by using various filters. It also has a high-quality color reduction function that converts an image composed of full color (about 16.7 million colors) and true color (32768 colors) into an image using a color table of 256 colors or 16 colors. In addition, it also supports continuous processing (catalog processing) for multiple files, which is not often seen in GUI applications.
All file input / output and filters of "Sega Converter" are executed by dynamically linking external modules (plug-in function). By creating this external module, users can extend their own functions.
