SpriteEditor User's Manual 1.First of all
■ Summary
- "SpriteEditor" aims to capture various graphic data as sprite data and combine multiple sprites to generate a pattern.
This document describes each function of "SpriteEditor".
For the basic operation flow, refer to "SpriteEditor Basic Operation". ■ Restrictions
- ● About Power Mac support
- SpriteEditor works in native mode when launched on a PowerMac.
- ● About target correspondence
- "SpriteEditor" supports the following targets.
- Saturn Target Model-S Graphics Box
- For precautions when connecting the Saturn Cartridge Development System (commonly known as CartDev), refer to the manual attached to the target.
- ● About the operation limit of "SpriteEditor"
- "SpriteEditor" requires about 4MB of memory at startup, but it requires memory proportional to the editing size during operation, so please secure enough memory for Macintosh before using it.
- You can open up to 32 windows at one time.
- Up to 255 sprites can be registered.
- Up to 255 patterns can be added.
- The number of sprites that can be set in one pattern is up to 255.
- The maximum number of banks that can be specified in the animation settings is 255.
- Up to 255 patterns can be registered in one bank.
- The above maximum value is the upper limit that can be managed on the tool.
Depending on the size of the picture data actually registered, a value smaller than the above value may be the limit.
