3. Environment required for designers


If the designer does the development, there are several possible machine configurations. However, in the case of designers, the part that depends on software rather than hardware is very large, so we will list typical product names and compatible models for each required tool.

SEGA recommends the following development environments.

Regarding hardware, SGI machines such as INDY and INDIGO2 are used for 3D tools , and Macintosh series is used for 2D tools in a network environment. Please refer to the table below and the figure below for the details of the machine configuration diagram and specifications.
