As a basic design, the conditions of specifications imposed on the second and subsequent discs are summarized below.

<Requirements>

Be sure to start the disc from the multiplayer screen (→ To ensure that the CD check = security check is passed)
Be sure to use backup RAM to store the necessary data between disks (→ because there is no other way to pass information to the second and subsequent discs).
* The method of continuing to the second and subsequent sheets using the "password" is permitted as a special case. In that case, there may be a specification that does not use backup RAM.

<Sufficient conditions>

The "title screen" that is the jump destination of the soft reset exists on each disc (→ to prevent frequent disc replacement)
"SEGA logo" and "title screen" exist on each disc (→ trademark / copyright notice (or data) should exist on each disc)
* Soft reset means reset by "A + B + C + start button" on the pad.

Also from the backup system conditions

Must have a main unit RAM / cartridge RAM selection function
Have a save data selection function (only for systems that handle multiple data)

Considering the specification conditions, the title sequence of the second and subsequent discs must be at least the following.

CD check
"License Sega logo" display
Pad check
Application "SEGA logo" display * However, skip immediately after "License SEGA logo" is displayed
"title screen"
* Title logo, "PRESS START BUTTON" display, (C) notation

It is not necessary to include the following items that are normally included in the sequence.

× Demonstration
× "Start / option selection screen"
× "Option"
* If the game is over, continue, or clear the game, return to the application "SEGA Logo" on each disc.
* If you omit the demonstration, you do not need to "loop" the title.
* "Options" are left to the judgment of each application. However, if there is a high possibility that the setting contents will be changed frequently even during the play of the disc 2, it should be included.
* Some specifications do not have a "start / option selection screen" if you do not enter "options".
