If the specifications are created exactly according to the standards so far, the following screen must be passed when the game of "Disk 1" ends and the game shifts to "Disk 2".
In a story-telling stream, these screens are nothing more than fun for the user. Therefore, we recommend the following specifications to minimize these procedures.
<< Recommended specifications >>
(Existence of recording as "normal data" of "Disk 1") (Temporarily rewrite "normal data" to "migration status data") ↓ 1) "Disk replacement message" in "Disk 1" 2) "Multiplayer screen" of the main unit BOOTROM 3) "License Sega logo screen" on "Disc 2" (Recognition of "transition status data") ↓ ↓ 4) Immediately return to the application (gameplay) ↓ (Rewrite "migration status data" to "normal data" starting from "disk 2")
* You can skip the "Title screen" and "Game record selection screen" of "Disc 2".
However, note the following points.
!! !! caution! !!
"Migration state data" is data in a special state, and usually does not exist.
* After "Disk 2" is inserted correctly, rewrite it to "Normal data" starting from "Disk 2" as soon as possible.
* Take action when two or more "migration status data" exist by mistake (prioritize by time stamp, provide selection screen, etc.)
* In the backup capacity check at the start of the game, secure the capacity in consideration of "migration status data" (when the migration status is reached, the capacity shortage is found and the data cannot be migrated to the next disk ... Be careful not to cause such a situation)
* If this specification is adopted, take sufficient care not to turn off the power while leaving the "transition status data" (separation so that the power can be turned off when "Disk 1" is finished. Do not make a good flow etc.)
that's all
