■ Editing texture data
- This section describes how to edit the texture data that maps to an object.
- ● Open the texture file
- In the Texture window, select File> Open.
- ● Turn a 2D image file into texture data
- In the Texture window, select File> Import.
- ● Use the texture cutout function
- Select the Select Polygon tool.
- In the main window, select the polygon you want to texture.
- Select View> Texture List to display the Texture List window. (If it is already displayed, this operation is not necessary.)
- Click inside the display frame of the texture number you want to cut out to select it.
- Select Options> Show Cutout Texture in the Texture window to display the cutout texture.
- Select the Move Cutout Texture tool.
- Move the cutout texture to the desired size and position.
- Select "Options"-> "Cut Texture" in the Texture window.
- Set the cutout conditions in the dialog box and click OK.
- The texture is set on the selected polygon.
- Select "Edit"-> "Deselect" to deselect the polygon.
- ● Convert texture data to a 2D image file
- In the Texture window, select File> Export.
- ● Save the texture file
- To save in SGT format ...
- In the Texture window, select File> Save.
- To save in TXR format ...
- In the Texture window, select File> Save As.
- Select TXR Files from the combo box.
