SCSP User's Manual / 4.2 Sound Source Register
■ 4.3 DSP memory control register
- Delay processing is the basis for DSP effect processing. Delay is realized by storing the input data in memory and reading it with a time lag. This storage area is called a ring buffer.
The ring buffer area can be set with the "RBL" and "RBP" registers according to the number of effect programs used at the same time and the delay time (delay time) of the effect. - RBL [1: 0] (W); Ring Buffer Length
- Specifies the length of the ring buffer.
- Table 4.34 RBL and ring buffer length
Bit | Buffer length |
| 00B | 8K word |
| 01B | 16K word |
| 10B | 32K word |
| 11B | 64K word |
- RBP [19:13] (W) Ring Buffer (header) Pointer
- Specify the start address of the ring buffer. This specification is specified at the 4Kword boundary.
